  11. A1200, WB 3.0. When I run prefs:palette, the screen opens with title bar,
  12. the system locks up and I get a GURU. I don't remember the last
  13. time I used this pref, so I'm not sure what I might have installed
  14. that screwed things up. The colorwheel never appears.

  16. I installed MUI 3.2 today and removed MUI 3.0 which I'd been using
  17. but I don't think MUI installation would affect original
  18. Workbench system software, would it?

  20. I had a "safecopy" of my Workbench: partition on my hard drive and
  21. went thru it comparing files.  I re-copied back 
  22. classes:gadgets/colorwheel.gadget and gradientslider.gadget,
  23. and also copied back the prefs program itself from my safecopy,
  24. but it's still crashing.

  26. Any other ideas as to what files I should look for/replace/delete
  27. from a safe copy of Workbench 3.0 to get Prefs/palette working
  28. again? This is most mysterious. :-/
